Jalebi

Also called: Jalebi, Джалеби

Spirals of batter fried and then soaked in saffron syrup. Eaten hot, when the outside still cracks and the inside is molten sugar.

How it's eaten

Morning food in much of North India, often with a bowl of thick milk. Cold jalebi is a different, sadder thing.
