Terms of Use
Last updated: 23 August 2026
These Terms of Use govern your use of the India GO mobile application.
By using the app, you agree to these Terms.
India GO is a travel guide app providing curated information about destinations in India, including cities, places, and cultural insights.
1. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
2. What You Buy
India GO Pro unlocks the full depth of the guide: complete place catalogues, hidden gems, treasures, immersion chapters, map-pin prose and personal notes.
Every city overview, the Start Here section and the visa calculator stay free.
3. Plans
Three plans are offered, and the paywall inside the app shows the current price of each before you buy.
- Trip Pass — 30 days of access. A one-time purchase that does not renew.
- Annual — an auto-renewing subscription. It renews every year until you cancel.
- All-India Pass — a one-time purchase that stays yours for good.
Purchases are processed by the store you installed the app from: the App Store on iPhone and iPad, Google Play on Android. They are charged to the account you use in that store — we never see or handle your payment details.
4. Auto-Renewal and Cancellation
The annual plan renews automatically at the end of each year unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. The renewal is charged to your store account.
You can manage or cancel it at any time:
- iPhone / iPad — Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
- Android — the Google Play app → your profile picture → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, or https://play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions
Cancelling stops the next renewal — the period you have already paid for runs to its end.
The Trip Pass and the All-India Pass never renew and need no cancellation.
5. Price
The price is shown at purchase in your local currency and is set by the store for your region. Taxes may apply depending on where you are.
6. Refunds
Refunds for in-app purchases are handled by the store that took the payment, under that store's own review and refund policies. We cannot issue refunds ourselves.
- App Store — request a refund at https://reportaproblem.apple.com/
- Google Play — open the Play Store app → your profile picture → Payments & subscriptions, then request a refund on the order in your purchase history.
7. Restoring Purchases
If you reinstall the app or switch devices, tap Restore Purchases on the paywall and sign in to the same store account that made the purchase. No re-payment is required.
The annual plan and the All-India Pass are restored by the store itself. The 30-day Trip Pass is a one-time purchase that a store does not always hand back, so we mirror the days it has left against your India GO account — sign in with the same India GO account and the remaining window travels with you.
8. Content Disclaimer
All information is provided for informational purposes only.
Travel advice, opening hours, prices, visa rules and similar details are given in good faith and can change without notice. We do not guarantee accuracy or completeness — always verify time-sensitive details with official sources before you travel.
9. Limitation of Liability
We are not responsible for any damages resulting from use of the app.
10. Account Deletion
You can delete your account directly within the app. Deleting the account does not cancel an active subscription — cancel it in your store account as described in section 4.
11. Privacy
See our Privacy Policy at https://indiago.app/privacy
12. Changes
We may update these Terms at any time. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed.
13. Contact
Questions about these Terms? Write to [email protected], or open Profile → Settings → Contact Support inside the app.
