The choice is less about stars than about where you need to be, because Pune is spread out: the airport road, the centre and the Hinjawadi IT corridor are far apart, and rush hour doubles drive times. Conrad Pune: space in the centre

JW Marriott Hotel Pune: the social hub

- Is there an early flight? — Pune Airport at Lohegaon is about 10 km from the centre, and rush hour doubles the drive. The Ritz-Carlton (about 4.5 km from the airport) and the Hyatt Regency in Kalyani Nagar are the closest of these hotels.
