Indian food

Singori

Also called: Singori, Сингори, Singauri

Sweetened khoya with coconut, wrapped in a cone of malu leaf and left until the leaf gives it a green, faintly bitter edge. Eaten within a day: it is the leaf that ages, not the sweet.

How it's eaten

Unwrap and eat straight away; a day-old singori has lost the point.

Where to try it

Dehradun

Wrapped in a malu leaf and good for one day only, so buy it here, eat it here.
