Naulakhi Eco Tourism Park
A planted forest of about 250 hectares on the Ujjain–Maksi road, raised by the forest department and the state eco-tourism board on ground that stood bare some fifteen years ago. Inside it now are walking paths, a cycle track, several ponds and a small cafeteria, and fifty to sixty thousand people come through in a year. Open daily from roughly 06:00 to 18:00, with a nominal charge per person and a separate one for vehicles. Winter mornings are the time to come, and the birdlife around the ponds is the reason to bring binoculars.
The only proper green walk near the city, grown from bare ground in fifteen years
