Kemmannu Hanging Bridge
A narrow suspension footbridge across a channel of the Swarna, built so that a small island settlement would have a way to the mainland. It still works that way, and it has quietly become an evening spot: still water below, coconut palms on both banks, the deck moving under your feet as you cross. Free, and short, though the sway rules it out for anyone uneasy with heights. Kayaks and boats go out on the backwaters from jetties nearby, and the bridge sits on the road to Delta Beach at Kodi Bengre. Mornings and late afternoons are the hours worth choosing.
A village footbridge that sways underfoot, five minutes off the road towards Malpe
