Sri Venkateswara Zoological Park
Spread over some 1,250 hectares of forested slope below Tirumala, and one of Asia's largest zoos by area, though only about 290 hectares are developed for visitors. The scale changes the experience: open enclosures strung along shaded trails through Seshachalam forest, so the walk feels closer to a hill path than to a city zoo. Well over a thousand animals, a nature interpretation centre, and battery vehicles for those who don't want the full distance. Open about 08:30–17:00, closed Tuesdays; entry is ₹70 for Indian citizens and ₹200 for foreign visitors (₹30 and ₹100 for children aged 3–12). Best November to February, and best early.
Seshachalam forest around the enclosures makes the walk feel like a hill trail, not a zoo
