Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy Temple, Srinivasa Mangapuram
Twelve kilometres west of Tirupati stands the temple marking where, in the tradition, Venkateswara lived for six months with Padmavati after their wedding before returning to the hills. Devotees hold that darshan (the sight of the deity) here carries the same merit as darshan on the hill itself, which makes the short queue quietly remarkable. The daily Kalyanotsavam, the re-enacted celestial wedding, can be sponsored by visitors. Protected by the Archaeological Survey, run by TTD since 1967; open roughly 06:00–20:00. Shoes off, modest dress.
The same deity and the same merit as the hill, without the hill's queue
