Janki Setu
The newest of the three footbridges, and the one that leaves room to stand still. Janki Setu opened in November 2020: 346 metres across the Ganga, with a centre lane kept for walkers so two-wheelers pass on either side rather than through you. It links the Muni ki Reti bank to Swarg Ashram and carries a fraction of Ram Jhula's traffic, which means the view (green water, ridges stacked upstream) stays yours for a minute at a time. At dusk the bridge lights come on and the crossing is worth doing slowly.
