Sadar Bazaar
A kilometre of street north of the lake, and the reason half of Pushkar's visitors need an extra bag on the way home. Silver and bohemian jewellery, embroidered mojari jutis from about Rs 100 once you have bargained, block-print and tie-dye cloth, mandala hangings, miniature paintings, singing bowls, and the town's rose harvest turned into rose water, oils and GI-tagged Pushkar gulkand. Incense and dhoop stalls gather at the Brahma Temple end (around Rs 60–80 a carton, usually fixed price). The street wakes up in late afternoon and stays up; bargaining is expected everywhere else.
One street covers the whole take-home list: silver, jutis, block print, rose
