Darshan at the Brahma temple

Temples to Brahma are almost unheard of in India; this is the principal one. The Padma Purana tells that Brahma came down here for a fire sacrifice and chose the spot where a lotus fell from his hand; the lake is said to have opened where it landed.

Roughly 06:00–14:00, evening aarti around 19:00. The schedule shifts with the season.
