No rickshaw goes down to the lake, so however you arrive the last few hundred metres are on foot, barefoot for the last of them.
🐪 In October and November transport and rooms cost two to three times more and the buses run full. Book both well ahead or pick another month.
🌙 There is no night transport in Pushkar or in Ajmer: after about 22:00 the only option is a car arranged in advance, usually through the hotel.
