AreaKasba Peth (near Shaniwar Wada)

Only Wednesdays and Sundays, and only along the road near Shaniwar Wada - which is why most visitors never see Pune's flea market at all. The stalls run to gramophones and vinyl, brass figurines, old door knobs, vintage cameras, second-hand furniture and tools, with finds starting around 150 to 200 rupees. Come in the morning for the best of it, bargain properly, and look closely at what you are buying: this is a genuine old-goods market rather than a curated antique shop. Most sellers take cash only.
