How to reach Naggar
Overnight coach to Patlikuhal Bypass
The standard way in: an evening Volvo from Delhi, 530 km up the NH3, and you step off at dawn six kilometres below the village. Buses bound for Manali pass the turning; Naggar is not on the main road.
Best option
Bhuntar / Kullu–Manali airport (KUU)
There is an airport 32 km down the valley, but only Alliance Air flies turboprops into it: around seven services a week, and they are called off whenever the weather closes in.
The Kullu–Naggar road is open all year, but snow can shut the highway above Manali and ice makes the climb slow in winter.
