Mossy Falls
The most secluded of Mussoorie's falls: roughly twenty feet of water sliding over moss-green rock in thick forest off Bala Hissar Road near Barlowganj. There are no stalls, no changing rooms and no signage worth the name, just a short scramble down and, at the bottom, nothing but the sound of water. The flow is strongest in the monsoon, which is also when the rock turns treacherous, so pick your footing carefully. Easiest as part of a Barlowganj loop, or tacked onto the Jharipani side of the hill.
