Eravikulam National Park

This is genuinely worth visiting. You might see a Nilgiri tahr (mountain goat) or catch the blooming of Neelakurinji blue flowers that blanket the slopes once every 12 years (usually August to October). The next bloom is expected in 2030, so you still have time to plan. A protected area preserving rare plant species and wildlife unique to these highlands, with beautiful hiking opportunities and guided tours available.
