CSI Christ Church
A small stone Gothic church from 1910, raised by the British planter community and still holding services; it passed to the Church of South India after the colonial era. The planter Henry Mansfield Knight funded it in memory of his wife, Eleanor Isabel, which is why the chapel carries its quiet love-story reputation. Inside, the original stained glass, period chandeliers and brass memorial plaques to High Range planters have all survived, and on a grey Munnar morning the light through those windows does most of the work. Visitors are welcome roughly 9 AM to 5 PM, outside service times.
