The gateway to eastern India, in Dum Dum, about 17 km from Park Street. Since August 2025 it has something no other Indian airport had for long: a metro station directly beneath the terminal.

By train
Two big termini (Howrah across the river and Sealdah in the city), and since 2025 the Green Line metro connects them directly.
"Meter kharab" is the standard line from a street cab. Take prepaid at the station or book in the app.
