State emporia from across India gathered into one low-rise complex in Dhakuria, with fixed prices and no bargaining: the simplest way to buy handloom saris, terracotta, ceramics, block prints and home textiles without giving a whole day to it. Bengal's own counters carry tant cottons and Bankura terracotta, which is more or less the shortlist of what people take home from Kolkata. Open roughly 11:00 to 20:00, near the Dhakuria bridge and Rabindra Sarobar.
