David Hall Art Gallery
A 17th-century Dutch bungalow on the Parade Ground, restored and given over to art that is being made right now. The house is associated with the Dutch commander Adriaan van Reede; CGH Earth runs it today as a free gallery with rotating exhibitions, mostly young artists from Kerala, and a garden cafe tucked at the back. Thick walls, high rooms and contemporary work turn out to suit each other. It takes twenty minutes at most, a natural pause while circling the heritage buildings around the Parade Ground.
