Nahargarh Biological Park

Forest at the foot of the Nahargarh hills, laid out as a modern zoo with a drive-through lion safari attached: Asiatic lions, tigers, leopards, sloth bears and wolves in enclosures with room enough to disappear into, so patience is part of the visit. Open roughly 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM and closed on Tuesdays. Entry is cheap (₹75 for Indian citizens and ₹450 for foreign visitors), with the guided safari bus ticketed separately. With children it fills a half day comfortably, and it sits on the road to and from Amber.
