Museum of Legacies
A two-hundred-year-old haveli on Kishanpole Bazaar, restored and opened in 2017 as a museum of what Rajasthan makes: curated rooms of gemstones, jewellery, textiles, pottery and artworks drawn from private collections. The building does half the work: thick walls, courtyards, shade, and a genuine drop in temperature the moment you step off the bazaar. Recent visitors report free entry, and the rooms are rarely busy. It stands on a street you are probably walking anyway, which makes skipping it hard to justify.
A cool, near-empty haveli of Rajasthan's crafts, halfway along the bazaar
