Kanak Vrindavan Garden

← Jaipur

AreaKanak Ghati, Amer Road

A royal garden of roughly 275 years, laid out under Sawai Jai Singh in the valley between Nahargarh and Amber, where the road up to the fort finally offers somewhere to stop. Fountains, cut lawns and pavilions sit under the ridge, with Jal Mahal below and the three forts along the skyline above. The Radha Madhav temple here is said to be where the Govind Dev Ji image first rested after its journey. Film crews and Jaipur families both use it, so weekends are livelier. Small entry fee; easiest to add to the Amber run.
