Best Book Centre
The shop that keeps Abids readable on the six days the pavement market isn't there. For more than twenty-five years it has dealt in used and out-of-print books, stacked floor to ceiling across both branches, in Abids and Lakdikapul, with aisles narrow enough that you end up reading spines sideways. Prices sit at a fraction of retail. If a title isn't on the shelves the staff will usually try to source it, so asking is worth more than assuming. Browsing is most of the point here, so allow more time than the errand seems to need.
