Renting a scooter
Delhi is not a city where visitors ride themselves: the traffic is dense, parking is a puzzle and the metro covers the same distance faster.
💳 A QR ticket comes from the DMRC app or straight through WhatsApp. For a sightseeing day the tourist card is simpler: ~₹200 for one day, ~₹500 for three, deposit included.
🚺 In the metro the women-only coach is always the first in the direction of travel; look for the pink markings on the platform. Men who step in are fined.
The prepaid counter gives you a slip with the fare on it and the driver gets paid on arrival, not before. Nothing needs to be handed over at the airport.
