How to reach Chandigarh

Twelve to fourteen trains a day from Delhi. Besides the morning Vande Bharat there are two evening Shatabdis, so the city works as a day trip in either direction.

Best option

Volvo to ISBT Sector 17

Coaches from Delhi every half hour or so, arriving right in the middle of the grid. Slower than the train but you leave whenever you like.

Shaheed Bhagat Singh International (IXC)

The terminal is on the Mohali side, 12 km from Sector 17 and about half an hour away. From Delhi the flight rarely beats the train once you count check-in.
