Gurudwara Nada Sahib
A white marble gurudwara (Sikh house of worship) on the bank of the Ghaggar, where the Shivaliks begin to rise. Guru Gobind Singh halted here on the road from Paonta Sahib to Anandpur Sahib after the Battle of Bhangani, and a devotee named Nadu Shah looked after him; the place still carries his name. The Nishan Sahib, the Sikh flag, flies from a 105-ft staff visible long before the gate, and langar, the free community meal, is served through the day. Full-moon Puranmashi days draw very large gatherings. Cover your head, dress modestly, shoes off.
