One narrow lane given over almost entirely to bangles: lac, glass and metal stacked floor to ceiling and sorted into runs of colour, so the whole street reads as a gradient. Earrings, nose rings and hair ornaments fill what is left. Lac bangles are sized on the spot: the seller warms the ring until it gives, then works it over your wrist, which takes about a minute. Roughly 10:00 to 21:00. Prices are low, and quoted per dozen about as often as per piece, so it is worth checking which you are being told.
