Sadar Bazaar

Agra makes leather at scale, and Sadar Bazaar near Agra Cantt station is where that industry meets the street: shoes, bags, belts and jackets, often below Delhi or Mumbai prices, mixed in with handicrafts and sweet shops selling petha and dalmoth by weight. Check the stitching and the leather before you commit, and bargain without hesitation; here it is expected rather than rude. The strip is at its best between 18:00 and 21:00, when the lights come on and half the city seems to be out walking it.
