The fast trains from Delhi make Agra an easy day trip: leave after breakfast, stand in front of the Taj before noon.

Best option

The comfortable option if you want Fatehpur Sikri on the way or are travelling with a family: door to door, no station queues.

State and private coaches leave Delhi all day, including electric ones; the cheapest way in, though traffic on the way out of Delhi can add an hour.

Petrol vehicles stop 500 m from the Taj: from the car park it is an electric shuttle, and for foreign tickets it is free.
